1/2 cup blueberries, washed
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Water for steaming
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Peel and dice the sweet potatoes.
Wash the blueberries.
Steam the Sweet Potatoes:
Place the diced sweet potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water.
Steam for about 10-15 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender and can be easily mashed with a fork.
Add Blueberries:
While the sweet potatoes are steaming, add the washed blueberries to the steamer basket for the last 5 minutes of cooking. This will soften the blueberries.
